I love baking, gluten-free baking, and long walks on the beach. Everything I make for wildflour is 100% gluten free and baked by yours truly.
When you buy wildflour baked goods, you buy gluten-free treats without the gluten-free taste. Even my DAD says he can’t taste the gluten-free.
Why did I open wildflour? Good question. Although I am not gluten free, my mom is. She has celiac disease and has a really hard time finding any kind of gluten free desserts or baked goods. It’s usually the same offenders, a crumbly chocolate chip cookie or a flourless chocolate cake. I noticed this lack of variety and took matters into my own hands.
I have always LOVED baking and everything to do with it. The amount of cake decorating YouTube videos I’ve binge-watched is absurd. I started to bake more and more gluten free baked goods. Cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, you name it. The more I baked, the more I was able to give to friends and family. With all the positive feedback, I was really inspired.
I finally put everything into action when my English class announced a project focused on extending hobbies to do something you wouldn’t normally do. I took a big leap and decided to make my project on entrepreneurship and starting my own business. There, wildflour was born!
